Adventures in Greece
So, here I am at the Idaho Falls airport ready to embark on what is quite possibly the greatest adventure of my life so far. This coming from the woman who’s dog shot a hole through the door of her suburban with a 20 gauge shot gun. (But that’s another story). Mel and my babies brought me to the airport and I thinking I’m missing them already, but anxious to share the world with them when I get back.
So, today I will fly (first class again thanks to Jay’s sky miles) to Houston, Texas. There I will meet up with my best friend on the planet (after Jay of course) Sally Lindberg, and then she and I will fly to Paris together where we will meet up with Jay, spend a day in Paris and then fly to the island of Crete in the Greek isles to live and experience another culture for a month. Sally will only be with us for 10 days, but what fun we will have. Jay is such a good sport. He is happy for Sally to come along to entertain me while he enjoys some quiet time fishing. Hopefully he won’t have to rescue us more than a couple of times.
I will be documenting it all right here for those who want to come along. So fasten your seat belts and hang on because Calamity Jane is about to blow into Greece and chances are neither she nor the Grecians will ever be the same. Yeeee Haww!!!!
